Ingredients
4medium pearsfirm and not too ripe
1tablespooncoconut oilmelted
¼cuplight brown sugar
2tablespoonshoneypreferably local
2tablespoonspure vanilla extract
1teaspoonground cinnamon
½cuppecansroughly chopped
A pinch of sea salt
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Halve the pears and remove the core with a small spoon. Transfer the prepped pears to a large casserole dish.
Toss the pears with coconut oil, brown sugar, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, pecans, and salt.
Using your hands, gently massage the pears until lightly coated with the oil and sugar mixture.
Transfer into the oven and bake until the pears are golden and fork-tender, approximately 25-30 minutes. Serve immediately.
Notes
Best served the same day it is baked. Leftovers keep covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
